[glow=red,2,300]Crysallyn[/glow]
Different colors....diffrent faces....
A voice echoed among the tall trees as the wind rose and fell to the melody. Birds chirped in the shadow of the leaves, flitting elegantly in and out of the forest and through the meadow where a young woman sat by the water of a lake, singing.
How many people....pass through here? Pretending....faking....living a lie....
She sang softly, feet dangling over the clear water. The wind shifted, blowing her long, red tresses over her shoulder. She looked up at the sky. It was a pretty day. The sky was a light blue, fluffy, white clouds drifting lazily accross the dancing sun.
My chances of finding.....my true hearts desire....have drifted slowly away....if I could find what I searched so hard for....would it ever help me today?
With a sigh, she stopped singing. Her words hung in the air. It was quiet...there was never any disturbances here. Gazing at the water, the woman stood. In one quick motion, she had removed her top and black warrior skirt to reveal a black, two-peice bathing suit. She dropped her clothes at the shore and dove in.
The water was cold. It felt good. She swam around for a while, enjoying it. As she swam, she began to sing again. Her voice carried through the trees, soft and sweet. She continued singing, not watching her surroundings. The day wore on....

A song echoed through the trees and Shas paused just letting it fill her ears. When it stopped her heart sank and she let out a breath she had realised she was holding. Now she walked towards the sound and found a top and skirt on the grass. Shas knelt and just watched the beautiful woman swim in the water.
When she started to sing again Shas smiled and closed her eyes. Shas hummed a soft tune... even if it was the one she hummed when she was spilling blood. Sitting in the bank of the lake Shas just watched the woman swim and listerned to her singing while Shas debated whether or not to join her in the water.
"You have a beautiful voice"

Swimming around and singing, Crysallyn was not paying attention to her surroundings. When a voice broke the stillness, she gasped and whirled around in the water, surprised. A blush spread over her cheeks and she smiled.
"Thank you." she said. The person on the shore was a femal, and looked to be about as old as she was...though appearances could very well be deciving.
She swam to the shore and put her arm over a large sun-warmed rock, looking at the other woman in curiosity. Some say that curiosity kille the cat...well...satisfaction brought it back. She had always liked that snappy comeback. It worked every time.
She finally decided to give the woman her name. "I'm Crysallyn, what are you called?" she inquired, slowly kicking her legs back and forth in the cool water, keeping her self steady as she used the rock to stay above the water.

Shas ran her over the water feeling it touch her at times with the ripples. Seeing the blush made Shas smile, the girl was beautiful and looked cute when she blushed. Shas noted how the girl swam and sat upright when she used the sun warmed rock to stay above the water.
"Shas, I like your name Crysallyn. I think it's pretty."
Shas touched some of the metal forming a sort of half skirt around her clothes and a part of it came off. Playing with the metal like a child might play with clay she pulled and squashed it. Shaping it and twisting it to form a simple arm band. It sit against Crysallyn's skin one end at her wrist and the other half way up her forearm.
The pattern was simple more like a criss-cross with with veins of gold and silver running through it. Smiling she placed it on the rock by Crysallyn's arm and leant back.
"A gift."

"Why thank you." the cat hanyou replied, still red-faced, but smiling nonetheless. "It means 'Crystal Ice' and was my aunts name." curiosity lit her face as she watched Shas pull some the metal off of her skirt, twisting it until it took the form of an armband. Shas set it down and said it was a gift. Crysallyn's eyes widened and she looked at the armbad, up at Shas and back again. "Oh, I really couldn't... she said, slowly picking up the beautiful peice of jewlry and turning it over in her clawed hands.
It was beautifully made. And Shas had created such a pretty work of art in so little time! Crysallyn was impressed. Still, she hesitated. She never liked taking things from others...especially when the item seemed like it was worth something. Now, unless Shas insisted, she couldn't even think of taking such a pretty thing from the other woman. "Are you sure?" she asked.

Shas knelt there and listened to Crysallyn's words and she manipulated the metal. Watching the other girl pick up the band and turn it over in clawed hands. Wondering why Crysallyn paused Shas held the womans hands in her own. Then with one hand took the arm back out of her hand and then opened it.
Taking Crysallyn's arm gently Shas placed the almost molten armlet on Crysallyn's arm. Shas ran her hand over it and the armlet sealed showing no seam, it was cool to the touch and sat snugly on Crysallyn's arm.
"Keep it, it will open only to yours or my touch."
